What you bring with you
  • Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on payroll accounting or comparable qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of income tax and social security law
  • Initial experience in carrying out payroll accounting and using payroll accounting software (e.g. DATEV)
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Accurate and structured way of working and high affinity for numbers
  • Good communication skills and service-orientated thinking
  • A sense of responsibility and discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to work in a team and good organisational skills
  • Willingness to undergo continuous training in the area of payroll accounting

What you will do
  • Preparation and implementation of payroll accounting for our clients, taking into account social aspects such as social security contributions, health insurance and pension insurance
  • Calculation and payment of wage tax and other taxes
  • Maintaining HR master data and processing changes relating to salary, working hours and social benefits
  • Advising our clients on wage-related issues and supporting them with labour law and social security issues
  • Communication with employees, authorities and external service providers on payroll-related matters
