Who we are

At RIEDIGER. legal | tax, we are not a traditional law firm with dusty files and dictation. We are an international, digitally oriented team of over 60 lawyers, tax experts, and accountants across Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland, delivering outstanding work. We provide holistic, practical, and forward-looking advice to businesses — both legally and tax-wise.

What we offer you
  • A comprehensive onboarding into your area of responsibility
  • Transparency thanks to regular feedback meetings
  • Permanent full-time or part-time employment (at least 30 hours per week)
  • Structured and flexible working hours with core hours from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and electronic time tracking
  • A strong team culture: shared breakfasts, team events, and celebrations that strengthen our team spirit
  • Continuous professional development: seminars, training sessions, and individual opportunities, even during the probation period
  • Complimentary beverages, massages, parking options, and attractive additional benefits such as a monthly tax-free benefit worth €50

What you bring with you
  • You are a fully qualified lawyer (advokat) with solid knowledge of North Macedonian law, with a focus on commercial law
  • You are a well-rounded commercial lawyer, not narrowly specialized
  • Ideally, you have 2–3 years of professional experience (not mandatory)
  • Business-fluent German or English skills (one of the two is required), as well as openness to using translation tools in daily work
  • A high willingness to travel between Germany and North Macedonia

What matters most is that you are open to new legal and economic topics and are able to familiarize yourself with international and cross-border legal matters, particularly EU law, private international law, and relevant treaties. In addition, you bring economic and organizational understanding, as well as enthusiasm for building structures and contributing entrepreneurially.
You work in a highly independent and structured manner and demonstrate integrity, discretion, and loyalty toward the firm and our clients. You communicate effectively, even across distances.
You think long-term and entrepreneurially and are able to find creative solutions to complex economic and organizational challenges.

What you will do

YOUR PERSPECTIVE

  • Your place of work will initially be in Dresden, Germany, for 1–2 years.
  • During this time, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of our working methods, client structure, firm culture, and interdisciplinary collaboration with our tax advisory team.
  • At the same time, you will be regularly involved in project-based work in North Macedonia.
  • The experience and structures gained in Germany will be gradually and transformatively transferred to North Macedonia and will play a key role in establishing and supporting a new office there.
  • The exact location will be determined jointly and is intentionally kept open.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing legal advice to companies in a business-oriented environment
  • Advising under North Macedonian law in the field of commercial law in its full scope, in particular:

o Corporate law (including company formations, restructurings, and dissolutions)
    o Drafting and negotiating contracts
o Supporting location decisions and investment projects
    o Employment law matters
o Interfaces with tax law in close cooperation with our tax advisors

  • Advising on funding opportunities and business-related regulatory frameworks
  • Supporting and actively shaping business processes
  • Building, maintaining, and developing client relationships
  • In the long term: co-establishing and independently managing a law firm office in North Macedonia in close coordination with the Dresden office
  • Regular professional and organizational exchange with the German team

A particular focus of our work lies in international and cross-border matters. Looking ahead, we plan to establish our own office in North Macedonia at a central location (e.g., Skopje, Bitola, Ohrid, or similar). We see significant economic and legal potential there and aim to develop this location deliberately and responsibly, closely connected to our existing offices.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

• A strategically exciting position with an international perspective
• Thorough onboarding and close support during the initial phase
• An interdisciplinary and appreciative working environment
• Clear structures, short decision-making processes, and genuine trust
• The opportunity to actively help build and shape a new office location
• Long-term collaboration with development prospects
